How to Get Here Coming from Michigan, Ohio or Indiana you will drive through Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, where you cross into the Canadian Sault. From there it is only 190 miles, about three and a half hours to Chapleau. You take Hwy. 17 North to Wawa and then Hwy. 101 East to Chapleau. Coming from Southern Ontario you will head North to Sudbury and then West on Hwy. 17 until you reach Thessalon. From Thessalon you take Highway 129 North. What to Bring You should bring your food and fishing gear. We supply a completely equipped cabin, bedding, boats and motors.
